CloseCraft Certified™
Don’t just complete the training. Prove you can perform.
CloseCraft Certified™ is built around demonstrated sales capability, not course attendance alone. Completing a lesson demonstrates participation. A CloseCraft Certified™ credential is issued only after the salesperson demonstrates the skill under evaluated conditions — including live performance under pressure.
The system works as one progression:
Learn → Practice → Perform under pressure → Prove capability → Certify
The Pressure Room™ is the performance proving ground. Each skill credential pairs a versioned knowledge assessment with a live Pressure Room™ performance exam, scored against the CloseCraft standard by the same engine that evaluates every practice conversation.
Core Skill Credentials
CloseCraft Certified™ currently includes five core skill credentials (Standard v1.0). For each, the salesperson must:
- pass a versioned knowledge assessment for the skill, scoring 80% or higher; and
- earn 8.0 / 10 or higher in the Pressure Room™ performance exam for that skill, scored against the CloseCraft standard.
The five completed core skill credentials are:
CloseCraft Certified™ — Discovery
Demonstrates the ability to perform live discovery conversations under pressure.
CloseCraft Certified™ — Objection Handling
Demonstrates the ability to handle real objections in live conversation under pressure.
CloseCraft Certified™ — Closing Conversations
Demonstrates the ability to advance and close conversations under pressure.
CloseCraft Certified™ — Cold Call Openings
Demonstrates the ability to open cold conversations and earn engagement under pressure.
CloseCraft Certified™ — Negotiation & Pricing
Demonstrates the ability to navigate pricing and negotiation conversations under pressure.
Requirements shown are the current Standard v1.0 requirements and may change with future standard versions.
CloseCraft Certified™ — Sales Professional
CloseCraft Certified™ — Sales Professional is the higher-level professional credential. It requires all five core skill credentials plus the completed integrated Pressure Room™ Sales Professional capstone.
The capstone is not another knowledge exam. It is a performance-only integrated exam: a full Pressure Room™ conversation that tests integrated sales execution across skills — reading the situation, choosing the right skill, and executing it — rather than repeating what a single-skill exam already proved.
CloseCraft Certified™ — Sales Professional
Prerequisite: all five core skill credentials. Then earn 8.5 / 10 or higher in the integrated Pressure Room™ Sales Professional capstone performance exam.
Three Credential Families, Clearly Separated
CloseCraft credentials come in three distinct families. They prove different things and belong to different relationships:
CloseCraft Certified™
Portable performance-based sales credentials. Demonstrated knowledge plus live performance under pressure, issued to the salesperson and independently verifiable.
Methodology Certifications
Credentials tied to proficiency in a named methodology or framework, such as NEPQ, Challenger, or SPIN Selling.
Company Skill Validations
Employer-specific proof that a salesperson demonstrated a company’s own selling standard. Belongs to the company relationship, not a portable personal credential.
Methodology Certifications measure proficiency in a named framework. Company Skill Validations measure a company’s own standard. CloseCraft Certified™ measures demonstrated performance against the CloseCraft standard. Each means something different — and none substitutes for another.

Independent Public Verification
Every issued CloseCraft Certified™ credential is independently verifiable. Anyone a credential holder shares it with — an employer, recruiter, customer, or LinkedIn viewer — can verify it without an account, through the existing CloseCraft credential system.
A verified credential can include:
- a unique credential ID
- the holder’s name
- the credential name
- the issue date
- the certification status
- the standard/version the credential was earned against
- the public performance score
- a canonical verification URL
- QR verification
- certificate download and share functionality
Verification uses the canonical verification URL pattern /verify/{credentialId} — the same URL encoded in each credential’s QR code and share links. Verification pages show only the credential information above; they never expose the holder’s private practice, coaching, or account data.
Why Performance-Based Certification
Completing training demonstrates participation. It says you engaged with the material — which is a real and useful thing. It does not, by itself, say anything about what you can do in a conversation.
CloseCraft Certified™ is intended to add evidence that the salesperson can execute the skill under evaluated conditions: a knowledge assessment that confirms understanding of the standard, and a live, scored performance exam that confirms the skill holds when a buyer pushes back, hesitates, or applies pressure.
A performance credential says what you demonstrated — not just what you completed.
A CloseCraft Certified™ credential does not guarantee real-world sales results, and CloseCraft does not claim external accreditation. What it provides is verified, independently checkable evidence of demonstrated capability against a stated standard.
Certification Extends the Development Loop
Certification is not a separate product system. It is the proving stage of the same Adaptive Sales Performance Platform™ that develops the salesperson every day:
Practice → Learn → Adapt → Improve → Prove It → Certify
Practice creates evidence. Coaching turns evidence into development. Certification turns demonstrated development into a portable, verifiable credential. The salesperson’s growth remains the product — the credential is the proof of it.
Prove What You Can Do
Practice, perform under pressure, and earn credentials that are independently verifiable.
